We pursue a mission to provide a quality, innovative and relevant education for youth who have struggled to succeed in a traditional educational setting. Students will become productive citizens and life-long learners through interdisciplinary and career-based curricula in a school community of care and belonging. Our charter tells who we are.
History
Nuestros Valores Charter School is located at the Old Armijo building. The Old Armijo building is a historical building.
"Small schools are family-like environments where individuals are valued and the rules of membership are clear. Their activities offer opportunities for active participation that result in accomplishments defined by youth, as well as by the larger society. They are youth-driven and sensitive to youth's everyday realities. Small schools assume that youth are a resource to be developed and not a problem to be solved."
